Do you ever just feel "blah" on the inside? Like you don't have enough energy for the day? Like you're bloated and carrying excess water weight? Well you might just need a good detox to restore your body and energy. Internal detoxing is the process of getting rid of the harmful toxins and substances that have been stored in our body. Detoxes cleanse the liver, kidneys, GI tract, and skin. There are many different ways to detox the body, the most popular include diet and supplements.

The benefits of detoxing include: weight loss, more energy, stronger immune system, improved skin, healthier hair, anti-aging benefits, and a better sense of well-being. So how does detox work? Almost all toxins are fat soluble meaning they don't dissolve in water, only in fatty or oily environments--in return being stored all throughout the body, in our body fat. Detoxification of the body begins with the liver converting the fat soluble toxins into water soluble toxins to be expelled via urine and sweat. Clean eating and supplements aid in this process by proving nutrients for the body that aids in the detox process--such as antioxidants which help neutralize free radicals in the body. Here are a few of my favorite supplements from Arbonne that aid in detoxification and are vegan certified and toxin free:

Digestion Plus - a 3-tier system that optimizes GI health with a prebiotic that supports an ideal environment for probiotics to flourish, a probiotic containing bacillus coagulans to balance the "good" microflora in your GI tract, and a blend of enzymes to help your body break down specific nutrients like protein, carbs, and fats to be better absorbed and utilized by the body. Digestion plus aids in cleansing your

digestive system, restoring balance to your digestive system, and reduce bloating. Here's a link for Digestion Plus: http://www.arbonne.com/Pws/CatharinaFoster/store/AMUS/product/Digestion-Plus-US-2063,1470,272.aspx
